snappy is a new media player based in gstreamer and clutter. it hides powerful features under a minimalistic interface. the talk will be a very quick demo of a few of these.
snappy can be remotely controlled with rygel and dlna devices.
it can be used to cut videos.
but most interestingly, it is cross-platform and aimed at showcasing and introducing people in other platforms to the gstreamer framework. it does this by supporting gst-launch-esque pipelines.
